Last night in Kuala Lumpur.
When I was abroad solo traveling last year, I've never gone out at night (except in Singapore) because my mom said it's dangerous for me to roam around alone since I was still a minor anyway. But when I arrived in Malaysia from Jeju Island, it was 8 pm and I had to take a 10 pm train to get to the apartment I'm staying in for the night. Instead of taking the 10 pm train though, that takes me directly to a stop that's only a few minutes walk to my accommodation, I decided to hop on and off trains connected because I didn't want to wait for another hour for the direct train. It was very interesting for me as I realize that I was alone at night at that time. I had many thoughts while I was on the train but at the same time, I was feeling accomplished because it's a first for me to be out that late in Malaysia.
